These brush strokes are usually purposefully unconnected, the space between has as much significance as the organic shaped brush strokes. The size and form are dictated by the type of brush and the painting mixing.
The colours in the Tropical garden series evolved from a large still life of native flowers including banksias and proteas, the vibrancy of the colours stayed with me, and remind me of my tropical garden on the gold coast.
